About Classes
Everyone practices yoga for different reasons, and those reasons are personal and meaningful. You don't have to have a specific reason to come; maybe you'd just like to see what it's like. Below is a list of some benefits that you may experience with consistent practice.

Yoga Myths
"But I'm not flexible and I don't have the right clothes..."
As with anything, there are a number of myths that consistently circulate about yoga, usually based on how it may appear. If you have questions or concerns about trying yoga or starting a practice please contact me. I'd be happy to talk with you. If you have medical concerns due to a medical condition, please ask your physician before attending class.
What to Expect in Class
Our classes together will focus on breath awareness, initial warming movements, yoga postures, and relaxation. I will provide cues, suggestions and props. Anatomy is individually specific, and so you will learn how each pose works for your body. Please bring a yoga mat and dress comfortably.
