Welcome

Welcome to Erin Marchal Yoga and Movement

Where My Practice Began

My first yoga class was in college - just one single class. I found it challenging in a way I wasn't ready for yet. More than a decade later though, I jumped in and didn't look back. I began a regular practice in 2012, enrolled in training in 2015, and have been teaching since then.

My Training

I received my RYT 200 HR certification from Sharing Yoga, lead by David Breen. Over the years I've taken more courses in meditation, anatomy, physiology and biomechanics, and teaching methodology. I recently received a 25 HR certification in Foundational Yin Yoga with Corina Benner.

My Teaching

I honor the origins and traditions of the practice, but I also honor that we are unique individuals with anatomy that is varied and complex. Only you know how a movement feels in your body. I guide every practice with intention and provide suggestions for how you might make it your own.

Online Studio

I've found true beauty in online classes - both live and recorded. They give us an opportunity to engage in yoga self-practice. We can be present with our bodies and breath in profoundly different ways than we do in community classes. And sometimes they're more convenient, too. If you're looking to have a guided practice at home, consider investing in a monthly online membership. The online studio is hosted on the website and has a library of more than 50 recorded classes.
